Our PI products cover the widest range of cases including catastrophic and specialist areas such as child abuse, asbestos-related diseases and animal act cases.

How does it work?

We offer our partners delegated acceptance and online case submission, saving you time that’s better spent focusing on your client’s case. Access to these is available once we’ve undertaken some eligibility checks based on volume, performance history and specialism in this area of litigation. Then we ask you to sign up to an insurance agency and mutual business agreement with DAS UK and you’re ready to go.

For firms which are experts in their fields, we will develop a bespoke PI solution that will provide the best possible outcome for clients.

What type of cases can be insured?

We can cover a wide range of personal injury cases including:

  • Catastrophic injury;
  • Brain injury;
  • Public liability;
  • Occupier’s liability;
  • Employer’s liability;
  • Mesothelioma;
  • General industrial disease;
  • Abuse;
  • Animal acts;
  • Product liability.
  • Road traffic accidents;

What does it include?

Our PI products are specifically designed with both our solicitor business partners and their individual clients in mind. The policy will cover all of your client’s investigation costs and disbursements, along with their risk of having to pay opponent’s costs (including counsel’s fees), right through to the end of the claim.

How much cover is available?

We offer cover up to £100,000 for multi-track road traffic accident claims.

How much does it cost?

Our aim is to provide affordable access to justice for claimants and so our cover is competitively priced with cost varying depending on the case type and stage of litigation.

We offer fixed client premiums with fixed levels of cover, so your clients know exactly how much will be deducted from their damages. What’s more, all of our personal injury premiums are deferred and self-insured, meaning that they are only paid if the case is successful.
