As market leaders in legal expenses insurance, we can provide commercial ATE cover for any type of commercial litigation.
Our Civil Litigation commercial product is a market leading, individually assessed ATE insurance product.
Civil Litigation is suitable if you prefer to take a case-by-case approach, and require higher levels of cover for your clients.
Civil Litigation is available for a variety of commercial cases, including:
It covers the other sides’ costs and disbursements and your client’s own disbursements if the claim is lost or discontinued.
We offer a wide range of indemnity levels, which are competitively priced. If we’re able to cover the claim, we provide an individually assessed quote upon each application.
There are no set criteria, and as long as your client is signed up to a valid retainer with their solicitor, each case will be individually assessed – without charge – by our experienced team.
This depends on the details of the case. Civil Litigation premiums are deferred and self-insured, with the cost of the policy varying depending on the case type and stage of litigation.
Like all of our ATE products, Civil Litigation is insured and underwritten by DAS and we hold an ‘A’ rating with Standard and Poor’s.
